HRWG in Atlanta
The Richard and Carolyn Block Award Session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th, from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m. in International C on the International Level of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
Our reception will not be held in the conference hotel this year. Instead, the site for the reception is a nearby restaurant, the White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails at 270 Peachtree Street (.16 mile from the Marriott Marquis). The time for the reception is 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20th. The Division on Women and Crime is holding their reception at another local restaurant, Max Lagers at 320 Peachtree Street, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. The two restaurants are on adjacent blocks and .10 mile apart, so it will be easy to attend both receptions.
The HRWG will have a table in the exhibits area again. The Merchandise Committee has been hard at work, and we will have both T-shirts and polos with a new design, as well as baseball caps, coffee mugs, and shot glasses (a first). An email requesting members to spend a couple of hours at the booth will be sent out in a few weeks.
